For said dealers many province away to have them in hand on the 9th they would have to ship pretty much today and even then, depending where NS warehouse is , i would not expect the farthest dealers to have them if they were shipped today.

I dont think we would be getting AI slop anouncement instead of proper picture if they had the rifle in hand right now and were in the process of packaging dealers order and shipping them. So yeah... kinda hard to believe anything NS says at this point.

Yeah, when the restricted ones came in they had a couple posts of them in their store, I'm certain we'll see the same thing when the non restricted variant arrives.

It’s a chonky rifle, too.

Going from holding a C8 to holding the Carmel feels like going from a broomstick to a 2×4.

I don’t find the weight excessive. That could change with a 18.5” barrel.
 
I wonder if they are hedging until after the U.S. midterms, in case one side or the other spikes tariffs and they have a sudden cancellation of pre-orders?

I dont think thats it. I think the Canadian market is very small. Compared to the rest of the world and other things going on in the world. Plus its a turn off when you see people complain small beans in the eyes of larger contract oppurtunity. Be glad these importers bring any cool #### in.
