I'm assuming you don't want to replace the barrel because of cost considerations? I plan to use the factory 18" until I locate a Tactical Solutions 16" featherweight threaded barrel (and my wallet heals a bit). I suspect it's going to look a little dorky until then, but whatever - it'll still shoot.

You can save some money by buying lesser parts and then buy/sell them over time too. For example, these freefloat handguards are about $65 to get you started.

Fabrice sent me an email letting me know that he received some grip screws today so he threw one in with my Nordic stock. If you still need one PC9, give him a call.
 
I talked to Fabrice and he is sending me a grip screw.I hour later i talked to a friend in town and low and behold he had one.:dancingbanana:
Yes the Tactical inovations mags are nice but i am quite happy with my BC steel lip mags.They havnt failed me yet.:)

No not saying their crap..

Just saying they would "look" better, the black composite mags look pretty good "I own one". Haven't even tried it out yet because it's being a #$#@$ and stovepipes and jams lots "even with the factory mags that were taken apart an cleaned".

So I am going to wait to play with it until my VQ extractor gets here and hopefully that takes care of that :D

Hmm.. If it all works out in the end and I actually like my Ruger aside from it's looks, maybe I will consider getting another to do something cool to it similar to yours.
 
Awaiting my Tac mags, but wondering if I should have bought the "stainless" ones...;)

For a black-tacticool rifle, the one featured in this thread's pics goes awful well with the Buler-Creek mags.

I will get out tommorow and give it a try.I had a riser mount on it at first but the front sight was higher so i removed it and now the back sight is higher.Looks and seems better without the riser.
 
I just noticed that the Nordic stock is no longer listed, but the logo is still on the main page.

Anyone know what's up?
 
It looks to me like you are going to be hitting a bit high because that rear sight looks a fair bit higher than the front. But DAMN! That is hot! I have had a chassis on order for over a month now..... CANT WAIT!

You know what this gun needs to complete the look?

Fabrice told me that the manufacturer is backordered and that Canadian orders are playing second fiddle to American orders.

Might be a while till we see these things again.
 
Wow - maybe I'll finally have something "rare" to sell on the EE. :D

Just kidding - I have a tracking number, but my stock hasn't arrived yet and it isn't for sale when it does!!!

EDIT: I was charged $259 plus shipping... back before they were rare.
