That's a tough call all right...both are excellent guns.

My decision would be made on the basis of what was already in my safe. Got several centerfire rifles? Go with the handgun. Got handguns? Get the rifle.

Although I think it's every Canadian's duty to own at least 1 m14s in the event of revolution...kidding...sorta.
