I just got a phone call right, and it's this lady from CFC. she talk to me saying that my handgun has no something premit for transfer to the range. I said, it's at the shop! (I haven't bring it home)

she said really loud BILLY you haven't got a premit to tranfer something firearm I said next saturday(she cuts me off) I was going to say I will join a club next saturday she said she'll just sent me some application form and hung up.


Wow the people at CFC is really mean, next time I see my head coach at special olympic, I'm going to tell him about this, the ####ing people at cfc are mean. what is this form they want to sent me anyways?
 
Were you talking to someone from the CFC, or your CFO? There is a difference. Restricted transfers get approved by your CFO.
You don't mention your province, and policies do vary, but basically for a restricted transfer to proceed, you will have to establish either collector or target shooting status. Are you a member of a club with range access? Do you have collector status? If you are in BC, the transfer isn't going to go ahead for target shooting unless you have a long term ATT. In other jurisdictions, you may have to provide proof of club membership.
 
Does it ever occur to you guys who criticize peoples posts, that English is probably not their mother tongue ???? I mean, not everyone who has poor English written skills is some so called back woods boy with no education.

Maybe because I live in Quebec and I am used to seeing people do their best to translate text, that I am not quick to jump on the criticize band wagon, but come on guys, give the guy a break. Out of seven replies, 2 are insulting the guy.

Possibly because I had a sh!tty day today this is bugging me more than it should, but I have read too many threads where guys just insult someones post because of their poor English skills, without ever taking into consideration that English may not be their mother tongue.

And guys, he is probably having a tough time typing with his premits on, so cut him some slack would ya!
 
You need to be part of a gun club that allows restricted's before they will issue the ATT. For future refference, join the club before you apply for the ATT. As the club has infor you need to give the CFO for approval.

I'm just here to talk about firearms, don't give me a western education christ. If I wanted to learn English I would be in school, not here on this forum where every white trash thinks they know something about proper English. The person from CFC said she'll sent me some application form, it's for bringing my handgun from my house to the range, any honky tonk here can put their English pride aside for a second, and explain to me what is this form?
