Hi Guys
Cheaper than dirt sell these for just short of $6.00 US but they don't ship to Canada (bastards). So much for free trade.

Anyhow any of you chaps know of an alternate source?

Try here, $5.50 Ea and they ship to Canada: h ttp://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?chrProductSKU=546280&chrSuperSKU=&MC=

And for our legal beagles, 5 shot Garand clips are not high capacity and the M1 Garand is not on the restricted list.
Certain parts are restricted for export by the United States Government, including barrels, barrel blanks, bolt assemblies, cylinders, receivers, frames, bolts, and high capacity magazines. For a complete list of restricted items and models that are restricted or that require additional licensing please click on the link below:

A 5 round Garand clip?!?!

Blaspheme!

Riflechair.... I'm sure I'll find it in my heart to forgive you... someday.

Hunting with one in most places in Canada will require one. Natural Resources only wants to see a 5 round charge in a semi auto.

No, I'm pretty sure Alberta Dept. of Natural Resources wanted to see only 5 round charge in any semi auto rifle as well. So unless you wanted to strip 3 rounds off after loading everytime & have one live down the pipe, you'd need to make/buy a 5 round pinger.

Hi guys
No I need this for match reloads which are restricted to 5 rounds. Its a pain when you have 5 round strings between reloads.

Thanks I didn't think of Numrich DUH!!!!
Sometimes I can be slow on the uptake but eventually I deliver :)

The 5 rd and 2 rd clips are a must for shooting service rifle matches in Cda where you must do a mag change after 5 rds. You can do it with the 8 rounders, but it can be messy.

Hungry?,, wanna jump in on this one?

Must be that Ontario thing again

For a change it's not Ontario. but maybe after reading this thread the Lieberal Ontario gun Nazis will introduce legislation to to ban these evil devices for the sake of the Bambis -especially if Alberta :eek:does it.

I remember seeing a thread on how to make the conversion- but can't seem to find it:(

"...Hunting with one in most places in Canada will require one..." Not in Ontario. As long as a rifle complies with the FA you're fine.
Marstar is listing 5 round M1 clips at $7.50 each. They're under 'Stripper clips for semi/full auto rifles'.

the whole feelgood thing about the garand is the ping factor .
i dont wanna have to blow 8 rnds to hear the ping .
1 or 2 round clips would be awesome . ping overload.:dancingbanana:
