SG553 version of CQB?

I'm sure someone (GT) has already posed the question, fwiw, but I was wondering if you any of you dealers out there hear from our helpful friends at R Nicholls whether there's going to be a Swiss Arms CQB with the SG553 gas piston system (i.e. conventional SG550-style system).

It would seem logical if R Nicholls places any new orders with Swiss Arms. And R Nicholls are by far the most logical people I have ever dealt with. ("Er... sight adjustment tool, have you tried this dealer on MacLeod Trail." "That's a Canadian Tire store.")

All of our CQB's on back order will be shipped in the 553 configuration...

Now the only trick will be, when will we see these.

Keep in mind we JUST got in a shipment of rifles that were ordered almost two years ago.

What is the difference from the old CQB's and the new 553 version gas system?

the 553 has the same gassystem as the longer versions, while the old CQB's have the gas piston attached to the bolt carrier and the spring behind the bolt.

Hehe, you got that right! I remember the first time I opened up my CQB, that sucker flew out the living room door and into the kitchen.

Sure, just replace the piston, bolt carrier, and recoil spring. These are not inexpensive parts, but if you feel the need they can be ordered.
