Anybody have one in Canada?

It looks like we will be able to have one here by Oct. Might be the only one in Canada as we had to request a new FRT number to get it registered.

What's different about that rifle? Ruger link no worky.

.

A few things are different. One is that only 200 will be made. This is likely the only one in Canada, so far(and its not here yet ;) )
It has a matte finish, special serial #, and circassian walnut. Also the fact that it is chambered in 375 Ruger makes it different. It is not a regular chambering in the #1. However, what makes this rifle the most special is that its owner also has the right to buy the other ones in the series with the same serial #. (7x57, 300 H&H, 450/400 nitro, and the 450 Nitro. The 450 Nitro and 300 H&H are the first and possibly only release of these calibers in a ruger #1. ) A lot of guys really want the 300 H&H and the 450 Nitro.
Of course, on the downside, this rifle is more expensive than a regular run #1.

OK, OK. How much? I just may find myself 'needing' one.

We haven't listed yet because we are still dealing with our US distibutors. However, it looks like it(they?) will be offered at about $1479+GST. We'll know before weeks end if we can get them and at what price. We'll list them on our thread in the classifieds once we have everything confirmed. Hard rifle to track down!

Thank-you! :)

Somewhat like an O'Connor clone ... anything with .375 in it, Boddington thinks he has "dibs". If Warren Page hadn't got around to the 6.5/08, it
would now likely be known as the 260 Bartell or the 6.5 Todd ! ;)

Not defending Boddington, however, don't forget; the .375 ruger is the first in a five chambering series including the 7X57, 300 h&h, 450/400, and 450 NE.
