Cheers ZM.... i spent about 4 hours on sunday playing with digital spencils.. so thanks for nothing ! :D hahah , i always loved multicam ( all my camo gear is in multicam ) .. so thats a possibility, only prob is we dont get krylon here :'(

maybe digital multicam! :D:D

( just digging my own grave with this custom camo )

I like the camo me and Thomas use ...
very very simple to apply, and it looks way better than most more complicated [ and expensive ] paint schemes. I get a lot of compliments at gun shows on my cammo gun stocks, and believe me, it is dead easy to do.

step one: Flat black/ dark (forest) green/ KRYLON over the flat brown already on the GI glass stocks, applied with diagonal bands

step 2: lay a bunch of tropical ferns, branches and leaves on the DRY painted stock. This is the REVERSE Template of what will show after you paint over. EG: if you want GREEN leaves and BROWN branches, stack the leaves and branches over the appropriate colors

step 3: apply light misting coats from a bit further back of some lighter colors. Khaki, grey, and tan are good here. Remove leaves, branches, etc carefully aftyer a bit of dry time.

step 4: apply three THIN coats of MATTE CLEAR marine grade Polyurethane varnish. This is for IMPACT/scratch resistance and UV protection. This is the same stuff they paint bowling pins with, so it will do a great job as the surface coat.

I voted other as well. I have a few of my own custom camo patterns, but my "ghost Cedar" inspired by Lazerus2000, has been very popular. Shown here with a match m14s wearing an Evilgeniusdesigns custom m14sa2 "hunter" fiberglass stock
