Not to pry as to what you paid for it, but if I was to put mine on the market, what do you think I could get for it.

The rifle was $200 new (all the internals polished, trigger job)
Stock $200
Sights $70
Mag $35
Barrel Band $30
Sling $30
Total $565.

Labour 5 hours $75/hr:D not included:p

10/22 or M1 Carbine Clone

I like it and you did a nice job. I have an original and it would look like an M1 from a distance. It took only 5 hours work to make it all work is fast. Can you give some details on how you manufactured the mag to look like a 15 round original? Did you have to Dremel some wood in the receiver to work?
Did you take any pictures of the work?

I didnt make it, and the guy i bought it from bought it as well haha
however, what i can tell you, is the magazine extension, and the op-rod fake, are both WOOD

very nicely done.
i may make additional magazines myself, and mod it a bit further to re-do the fake op-rod in aluminum or something.

oh...my....god...!!

This is when you combine a gun, an old-school toilet seat and a coat hanger!

But yeah, it has the effect for sure! :)

The magazine on my M1 is a real M1 mag that is epoxied onto the bottom of the Ruger rotary magazine. I've seen Dereks M1 on Rimfire Central but don't know who the previous owner was. His magazine is what clued me in from where I had seen it last.

My OP is wood as well but you would be surprised if you saw it up close. You couldn't tell it was wood. The inletting was done with a dremel tool and the pattern for the inletting I got off of the 1022 section at Rimfire Central. Other than carving out the stock, there was really nothing else to do except assemble it. Oh and the mag, I had to epoxy it on and make a little wood thingy to look like an operating rod handle. No big deal. Maybe even less than 5 hours except I painted the barrel band as it was a little ratty.
