I ordered a CZ-75b stainless a while back from Guns n things. Unfortunately when I got mine, it had the shiny pimp mirror finish. I was expecting the "satin" finish.

I contacted Guns n things and showed them the CZ web page with the "satin" finish. I wasn't aware that there was a "gloss" finish so was disapointed when the pistol arrived. Sending the pistol back for bead blasting was provided as an option. So I did.

I'm very happy with the final product. Here is a picture (I have to appologize for the poor photography). This has the optional wood grips. I also have the hogue grips and will be putting them on shortly.

The stainless 75 I saw had the 'chek out yo' grill in the reflection' pimp-o-matic shine........Definately lost interest in that puppy.
The satin nickle finish is very nice.......

I like the satin look better than the SS one I saw on Armco's website. Too shiny, almost mirror like....

lol I have the pimp-o-matic one. I'm normally not really into shiney guns. I figured I might as well have one. I'm thinking about selling it though. It's so shiney it makes me not want to fire it because I might dirty it.

Whoo~! That is shiny!

Me, I'd probably take some '000 Synthetic Steel wool' to it (from Rona).
It gives you the same brushed look that comes on lots of stainless revolvers.

Nice guns guys.

That was my thought too. Definately not my style. I was actually a bit horrified when I opened up the box. I really did try to like it. I just couldn't.

Novan3 excellent pictures.

I am very happy with the bead blasted finish. The imperfections on mine are a combination of poor photography with a cheap borrowed camera, and G96 reflecting the light. The actual finish was excellent.
I'll be putting the Hogue grips on soon.

Epoxy7: Don't do Hogue (unless you must have the finger grooves)... get the factory CZ rubber grips (very nice and looks hot!)

I think all three guns pictured here are cool in their own way. I wouldn't kick either of them out of bed for spilling crumbs. ;)

Epoxy7, Next time you take some pics you should try to use as much ambient lighting as possible (a room lit by actual sunlight is best) and turn the flash off. That seems to be the best way to get realistic colours with just about any camera.

Mine came with the factory CZ rubber grips. They're too narrow. I use a hogue on my Swith and Wesson Duty pistol as well. I find this puts my finger properly on the trigger. My accuracy goes up significantly.

I had the camera only for a few hours and unfortunately it was night time. I continue to refuse to buy one. I'm not sure why.

Easy there.

I don't really have an interest in cameras. Although it's a pain when you want one and don't have it. That being said other than my firearms I take relatively few pictures. Especially when I have friends that are far better than I am at it.

Lol didn't mean it like that..

Instead, I thought you're like me and forgo some luxuries like digicams and clean underwear for the acquisition of restricteds.
