Does anyone know if theirs surplus .50 cal bmg ammo for sale out there and has anybody brought ammo from the U.S. I know you can on the Canadian side but the U.S side I'm not sure of the problems I might have.

Lighten up, folks: he's just asking where he can buy some .50 BMG in Canada and, if not, if he can get some from the States. You'll need permits for anything from the US; not sure where you can get 50's in Canada.

Although, yeah, it's pretty weird that you dropped close to 6 large on the rifle alone yet don't know where to get ammo for it!! :D

Rifles, ammunition, brass, bullets, primers. Anything to do with .50. Not Cdn. import, rather US export.

Bummer for those with 50's and no reloading equipment, I guess... But wait, if you said "anything to do with 50", does that mean brass, primers & bullets? Or just the whole cartridge (i.e. factory ammo)?

Nothing, nada, zip, exported from the US to CANADA.

But you can get all of the above from Europe and elsewhere.

Canada Ammo has .50 primers, don't know about anyone else. I just stumbled on it the other day. If you do decide to reload there's one ingredient...

Hit the exchange forum, theres always a few guys with supplies on there, As others have stated you are better off reloading, unless you are fine with paying $10 a round. I know I wasn't! I have an HS50 and bought all things necessary to reload. my first Hundred rounds will cost just under $5 a round and my second & third will cost a little over 3 bucks around, until my brass needs replacing. That being said you have alot of research ahead of you, It took me awhile before I could find the right supplies and for a good price. PM me if you have any other questions,

Check out the first five replies, arrogance and paranoia. I don't think he'll be back. Some people have enough money to buy a .50 without having the know-how to get the ammo. I have been shooting for years and I don't have a clue outside a WTB in the EE...

Perhaps it is a rude way to greet a new member, but we are getting a few strange posts here lately, just in time for the election.

That is why I asked him to post a photo of his gun.

Frank, if you are legit, please accept my welcome to CGN.
