XK11 is not comparable to the OICW, it's simply another rifle/grenade launcher combination with an improved sight.

The CPW submachine gun can allegedly be converted to 4.6x30 or 5.7x28mm.

Nice rifle !!! Yes its a 20mm launcher. I think its programmable for the 20mm air burst on the target by a rangefinder micro-processor

I don't know about this one guys...looks like it has an awfully long length of pull...look at it again...with body Armour it might be pretty uncomfortable...

To be honest, the XK11 is only 13.5lb and much better balanced- C7 +ELcan + M203A1 with the ridiculous chunk of metal it is attached to is about the same weight.

I'm thinking more of the ridiculously large optic on the thing and the long LOP.

The XK11 being heavier than the standard infantry rifle isn't really that big of a downfall. I assume Korea plans to use it in the same role as the US with the OICW. It isn't intended to replace every rifle in the squad, just the grenadier.

Agreed, but the allies thought the Stuka was ugly too.. as far as weapons go... looks don't mean as much as their ability to blow #### up.
