New RF bullet from Remington is very quiet ..... CB-22L100
Compare to the CCI CBLong or Short, it's a bit better. The noise
level is a little bit higher but not by much.

CCI CBLong or Short Chrono at 690 fps - 700 fps, 29gr.
Dome

Rem. CBEE22 Chrono at 827 fps - 830 fps, 33gr.
Hollow Point

Price is about the same or perhaps a bit more.

Hey Sniper, who has them in stock?

And since I have your attention...still waiting for that "next day" PM from CAF........

...... LOL .......

Your local dealer should have them by now .....

Ask for it, they should be able to get it for you in 3 days .....
otherwise I guess I could help .... lol.....

Cheers.
BTW: PM from CAF, did I forgotten something .... my memory is going bye bye ....

Simple. Go back through your PM's, find the last two to me re: a rifle you might have (ruger), and pay special attention to the part where you said" I'll check tomorrow and PM you" :)

Ah , now I remember and I did reply to that one ..... lol.....
PM .... sent ....

I bought 5 bricks of the long and 4 bricks of the short (why, I don't know) from Le Baron many years ago. Rated at about 760fps with a 29gr bullet.

Not very accurate past 10 meter but you can keep all your shot on a 8x11 paper target at 50 meters. Good for close range pest control. Sound like a high power air rifle going off.

I use it in my 10/22 and my S&W 622 in the basement... these rounds will not cycle the action. Great for a Ruger Single Six.

Dang it.... now I have an itch to cap off a few rounds... Hmmmm 12 mid-night, I think my wife will kill me.

A great basement round..just watch your backstop, these things are sneaky!

For sure... I've had a few that sounded alot louder... a few extra grains can make the difference from "pop" to POW!!! to Honey... did you hear that one, do you think the neiboroughs heard? Maybe I should close some of the windows just in case... :runaway:

Hi,

Just bought a box from LeBaron at 6,99$ CAD. The bullet is the same as the Remington Yellow Jacket except for the 4 notches on top of the cone. I guess those notches will make the bullet to fragment on impact.

Quality is again far behind that of CCI, bullet and case shape is not very consistent, just like the yellow jackets. It's interesting to see Chronograph results, CCI is much closer to their advertised velocities than remington.

Still, this looks like a deadlier round... Experience will tell.

Bye.

Be wary of the lead dust indoors.

Lead dust is the least of my worries... breathing the air downtown from all those idling cars and trucks are a havoc to my lungs, 2nd hand smoke , dang it... I shop at Dollarama and apparently any cheappy item made in China contains traces of lead.
