I'm really REALYL poorly equipped, down here. Anybody keen on sharing the tools I dont' have? Or was that the idea, anyways? I'll try to raid the Shop at work for some items, as well, but... you know.

What with work and Hunting, I haven't been near a civilized community for weeks... havent' had a chance to buy anything (Bedding/release compound, syringes, etc). I'll obviously pay for anything I use of yours.

WhooHoo!
Got my new ammo today. Supposed to be German origin.
Heres whats on the box,...

Got to pack a bag with whatever tools I can that will be of use in the *quest* for a better M-14 :D
Also have to practice taking the gun apart tonight. The last time I did it was when I first got it about 10 months ago.
Don't want to look like a total ditz in front of everyone. :p

That is what's in the 200-round Battle Packs for sale at milarm

Thats what I've been using until I found 1000 rounds of non-corrosive norinco ammo for 50 cents a piece :) instead of 75.

masintra That is what's in the 200-round Battle Packs for sale at milarm

I just picked up 60. The original plan was to buy this rifle as a big game hunting rifle and use commercial hunting ammo. I'm in the dark completely about the head spacing issues associated with hunting ammo vs milsurp.
I'm sure Hungry (aka Master Yoda :D) will set me straight.
"Familiar with nuances of ammo he is"

I've got a meager bag of tools packed, They might not be totaly appropriate M-14 tools, but I'm willing to share if someone needs anything I might have.

I'm starting to feel the pain. I had a spot in the clinic and now have to work this weekend. Is there no justice in the world?

Not only do I miss the priceless clinic but also the parts that others are bringing to sell. And 45 will probably sell all of his nice stocks there before I get paid this month.

Erin and I just got back from our honeymoon half an hour ago. Gun cases are staged and ready to go, ammo is packed, multitool and cleaning rod are packed, ear and eye pro is packed save for one pair of muffs that went MIA somewhere in the move, but I have an ample supply of plugs. Syringes are MIA, and I doubt I have enough hand tools. Cash will be easy to grab on the way out, so Erin and I will pitch for lunch too.

Ahhahahahh.:D

Hungry's here it's amazing he's actually in my house.

Just getting some stuff sorted out for what to bring tomorrow.

It's gonna be a blast

Just one more sleep.

We almost decided to rebarrel on of my rifles tonight but figured we'd save it as a test piece tomorrow.

Sprint: we'll try to keep a running blog of what's going on. Sosa is packing up the truck as we speak. Anyways, after the clinic and when I get home, we can EMT the money back to you. No sweat. I just feel sorry for the fellas who could not make it here. We are already talking of another M14 clinic in the future, especially one for the new M14 addicts. Hey, at least the knowledge that I pass on to the attendees here today will move forward and procreate (lack of a better word?).

Get ready for a crazy day.

Any of you fellas who were on the waiting list of whose time has freed up and did not contact me about attending... I've got a couple of spots that opened up, as you can see. Grab yer M14 and come on down. You can hit me up at the Clinic.

YES, I have all the M14 specific tools. WestJet ladies were kind enough to allow me the entire kit of tools on the plane. I told them that I was teaching ultra specialized and highly sensitive to our National Security information. And I'm also sponsored by Noveske (wearing the hat that Socom Supplies gave me) a company that builds offensive hardware for the Delta and Dwyer Hill gang.... You can guess where this conversation was going (read: stretched). :D

See you all in an hour or 2

Cheers,
Barney

Well folks - that was a hoot.

Many thanks to all for a great day, and particular thanks to Hungry (of course - I really appreciate you coming all the way out here to do this for us), Sosa, Big Tex, and Hey You for their expertise and assistance. It was a day well spent. Every time I look at my freshly chopped M14, I giggle like a feckin' schoolgirl.

Good to see you all, boys, and hope to see you soon. Stay safe.

Dan

A million thanks to you Hungry, I had a blast... good experience that I am looking foreward to next year. I really enjoyed seeing everyone in person.
A good time was had by all and I don't believe anyone's #### fell off in the process!

Thanks to Hungry and Sosa for putting this all together, I learned alot and hope to retain all the information that I have absorbed. If not then that is why they will be one next year to refiresh our memories. It was a great experience hope to learn more as time passes.

I want to thank gnmontey for bring his lap top in, it was very much appreciated, now I can watch the DVD that everyone is talkinf about.

It was good to meet everyone and to see what you all have done with your M14s. Everyone was great and thanks for sharing! Thanks to all that help everyone else out before working on their own M14s!

Again thanks Hungry for making the trek out west and I hope to see your M14 next time. It was truly an excellent day!!

Until next time, take care all

Many thanks to Hungry, for another great clinic.
And special thanks to Sosa, who really went above and beyond, meaning he spent some money and allot of time and resources to make sure we had a great day.
He even had his wife deliver lunch, thanks Sosa's wife!!.
And last but not least, thanks to all the attendees!!!
The best part about these clinics is meeting the guys; seeing what they are doing, how they solve problems we all tackle, and lots of times you say to yourself, why didn't I think of that??
If our sport is to survive and hopefully flourish!!!!!!
These get togethers are a must in my onion!!!!!!!!!!!!
wcmd;)

Well I finally made it home.Couple of little cat naps on the way but arrived safe and sound.Traffic very lite for Satnight/Sunday morning.Well worth me attending to reinforce the 2004 CD and put faces to the CGN handles. Thanks Hungry for taking time to come out west again and keep the ball rolling.Sosa and Heyyou thanks for taking time out to put on a good show. You too Tex.Tex had to wait to the end of the clinic to work on his M14s as he was way to busy helping everyone else. Thanks again guys.
