best place to buy steel lips?

$50 from a robot hooker? :p

Just kidding. I can't find them anywhere anymore. I too would like to know.

The prices actually just went up on these. It looks like they will have a supply issue. Lots around this area now, for $45 plus tax.

I ordered a couple last weekend from WSS but they haven't charged my card yet... it says the order is approved so I'm thinking they're sold out?

I could be a jerk and recommend the TI mags (esp. considering the prices you guys are quoting - wow!), but I like the see-through aspect of the steel lips...

Hey jerk, what was their website name? :D They were out of stock for a long time. As per thier website: They no longer ship the 25 round mags toCanada!

Yea, just saw that in the OT thread....:(..what a shame, I'm glad I have some, but I wish more 10/22 guys & gals could have got them too - esp. the new shooters. What a shame.

It bad enough that our government blames legal gun owners for illegal gun crime, but the fact that the US blames Canada for the terrorist problem is absolutely stupid. They should be remided of that every time a CANADIAN soldier dies because of an attack on US soil. (simplified version, but you get the point.)

I certainly do see your point.

im hopin to pick up a handfull, where is the cheapest place these days? thanks

Don't know about cheapest, but P&D Enterprises (780-420-6419) actually have some in stock. They were $45.00 each yesterday, November 25th. They also had a few "Hot Lips" 25 rounders. Apparently when these are gone, there will be no more as they're no longer available for export from the U.S.

well if im not gunna get ahold of any butler creek mags, what are my other options?

Try the E & E and hope the "gougers" aren't out in full force yet...

"Gunshows" are an option, as are "local gunsmiths" (the smaller guys); in any event, I'm not sure how long the "ban" will be...it seems short-term as the pre-Obama demand is outstripping current U.S. supply.

Edit: It begins (but this seems about fair, once the math is done):

Does anyone know if the 50-rounds magazines were ever sold in Canada? Or if they are legal in Canada?

I just picked up a Ruger 10/22 Deluxe today, so it saddens me to hear that these magazines are illegal to ship to Canada. I contacted PD Enterprises.

Anywhere else that sells these? I am looking for the 'smoke' colored version in particular.

Ramlines? The capacity is not an issue (basically unlimited for a non-pistol rimfire), and there are a few floating around. Or were you referring to the MWG model (also available in Canada, in lesser numbers)?

As an update, P $ D have the steel lips in stock, as well as Russell Sports. Russell Sports is selling them for $29 and only has 17 left ( Now 15 =) ), so get em while you can!
