Need to know basis... and you don't need to know.

Luke

This is what I have carried in the past at various companies

Brinks Edmonton, Smith model 10 4" barrel 38 and model 64 4" barrels 38. They also had a few 2" barrelled model 10's and an airweight model 12. They will soon have MP 40's or so the rumour goes.

Brinks Vancouver, same as Edmonton.

Churchill, Vancouver smith 686 357 mag 4" barrel. One guy in the vault had a Norinco 1911A1. They for a while carried Glock 22's but CFO BC took them away. Not sure what they are carrying now as it has been awhile.

mod 10

yep I carried an ancient model 10 slim bbl for 12 years-- but it was one of the truest shooting guns that I ever held-- why do you ask??

I remembered back about ten years, I observed armed guards carrying carbines of some sort. Looked like an AR-15 something but much more skeletonized. This was downtown Toronto in front of an RBC.

I'm looking forward to being issued my MP 40. It should work well for clearing out convenience stores.

Brinks had remington 870 Wingmasters with factory folding stocks back when I was working there in the 90's and Churchill had some nice wingmaster modded by Scattergun tech with Trijicon sites and some other mods. Maybe you saw the remmy factory folder guns?

Carried a rusting 4" S&W .38 Special, like Strangeday posted; ammo was Federal lead hollow points +P.

For years Brinks carried +P LSWC 158 grain 38 sp, but switched to GOLD dot +P 125 grain. At Churchill some guys carrried 38 special in the 357's and other carried 357 158 grain gold dot.

i just want to know because im planing to apply for armor guard, thanks for the information.

i was thinking of doing the same for a part time job, just to waste time on the weekend and some nights, but isnt it very boring ? walk in, get money, come out drive, then repeat ... same every day.
