Skateboard grip tape. I absolutely despise the palm swell on the the VSF as I find it doesn't allow me to have an adequate hold on the stock. The tape helps out a lot but lots of black residue comes off when holding onto it. I've painted some of the tape and hope that will make it cleaner to use.

My Norinco M305 .308 semi-auto ... soon to be scoped! :wink: I guess these may be considered LR/Precision/sniper rifles amonst my fellow CGNer's ... mind you I've only been shooting within 100-150 yards with them ... mainly hunting tuktu which you can get real close to ... well my Remington has done all the hunting ... the other two are soon to be animal killers ... :twisted: :wink:

How are the tuktu treating you so far? I'm waiting for the ice road to get in before I brave a trip to the south side of the river. I don't want to get stranded in McPherson.

BUM, those are 10/5 rounders and I prefer the look/feel of them over 20's! The stock on the 700 was painted by a friend I sold this rifle to a year go and just recently got back ... it's one of those SIR removeable stencil paint kits ... it looks cool, but I'm hoping to get SKULLBOY to paint the rifle stock, barrel, scope, etc in CDN Cadpat TW soon ... just need to raise some funds! :wink: I haven't had a chance to go outland lately ... did last weekend to close up my cabin for winter(as it's really a shack
) and am on-call alot with my work ... I'm hoping to get out this coming Saturday ... if my boss will take the radio!? Cheers,Otokiak ... 8)

My little plinker. Rem 700 VLS .243 with Leupold QR rings and bases. Burris Black Diamond 6-24x50 on top. Previous owner from the board had some work done to the rifle though I don't recall all of it - I know the muzzle was re-crowned to a different angle and the trigger was done and is a VERY light, crisp 16 oz or so.
BTW Otokiak, great pics dude!! Aren't you worried though when the polar bears start walking up towards your window like that? :wink: They're looking a might hungry.
