Any New Pistols for Christmas CGN'ers?

So what did everyone get themselves for Christmas? I spoke with the CFC on the 24th and they said it was crazy busy and that it seemed to them that all of Canada was arming themselves!

I admit I went crazy this month. I bought a Sig 226 Combat from Questar, a Series 70 Colt Commander, a Beretta 92 Compact INOX and I bought my old Colt AR back from a fellow CGN'er. It's been a very expensive Christmas but I've been good and I couldn't say no to any of them.

My latest acquisition arrived last weekend.

It's a S&W Performance Center 627 - 8 shot .357 Mag.

But I'll be loading it with .38 Short Colt (as soon as I get the brass and die set) and using it for ICORE and IPSC Production Division competition.

(I want to see how many semi-auto shooters I can beat in IPSC-PD! )

I tried calling the CFO to complete the transfer on the 24th, but it was busy as hell.. I was on hold for over an hour before I had to hang up, as my cordless phone's battery was dying!

I've spent well over $2500 in handguns/club membership this Xmas, but I just got my RPAL and I'm really eager to have some fun at the range. I hope I'll be able to get through to the CFO on Monday!

This has been my only 'recent' acquisition..... A Pre-Christmas present to me.... New Norc 1911A1 from Can-Am:

Still working on tweaking it to my own tastes. So far, only the grips & standard slide stop. but have a standard mag release and an aluminum adjustable trigger to go in it, too.

May I humbly suggest that if your GF doesn't approve of your hobby, you should look for a new GF. If she can't accept who you are now, then wait until you make this relationship PERMANENT--then will you be in for a lifetime of hurtin'.
