What was your most unique firearm for 2008...

Aren't those the ones built in Vietnam? :stirthepot2:

See your just that much closer to buying an SKS...Go for it dude just go for it! :D

On a serious note how well does it shoot? :)

I got it on paper then tried some 180 grain Nosler Partition's through it.I shot one, then fired the second and couldn't figure out where the second bullet went. I fired the third shot and it printed 1/2 below the first shot. I checked the target to find out the first two were almost one hole.

Remington Ti in 260, change the stock to a wolfe 12 oz and bedded it and added a 2-7 leupold ultra light scope, with sling and 4 140 nolser rounds for under 6lbs. Great to carry all day.

No new rifles for me in '08, but I bought a Rem 700 youth .308 for the wife...

For me it is a toss up between a nice old Brno 21H in the rare 7x64 Brenneke chambering and a custom barrelled Sauer Drilling in 16 x 16 / 8x57R. Used the Brno to shoot a nice bull elk. Shot a few sharptail with the drilling. I like the unique European stuff.

375 Ruger

Wasn't planning on buying anything this year, sold a bunch in fact, then I saw this......... SS LH 375 Ruger M77 Hawkeye.

I didn't buy any "interesting" guns in 08; I generally sit in the boring necessary camp. What I would like to try though is a rem 788 in 30-30.

Last year a Rem 700 in 250 Ackley. Took a couple of deer with it.

This year a 257 Ackley on a 700....my new deer rifle.:D

Rem700 BDL in 6.5 Rem Mag, circa 1969. I finally found my 'perfect' Alberta rig and had to put her up for sale:(

Starting to cruise GunsAmerica and GunBroker.com looking at weird stuff to buy once I'm stateside. I wonder if I could convince my wife that a Pasadena .44 Automag is a bare-bones hunting rifle...

2008 was good, really good, so I don't know where to start. These have to be a couple of the good ones:
