Russian SKS45 long thread.

What a difference a few months makes. I read back to the begining when Curtton thought he could dictate to frontier guns what he should sell his SKS rifles for, and how many of you said that frontier Guns had to lower the price and it proved there was a 50% margin.

Fast forward it and now people are #####ing because SIR talks about raising prices for guns that no ones knows if they even have, and all the cheepos are blowing smoke up the ass of any dealer who will actually get them now (but before they were rip off artists). It seems like it will be a free for all once they get here as everyone scambles to get them while they can.

I will be grabbing all the local ammo I can find while I can, a few thousand rifles out there can eat up a few million rounds in short order.

I never owned an SKS. but at this price I guess its time to start, right?
---- I have an Norinco. but not a Russian, and have been on the " list " since day one, and like so many here am really looking forward to getting one. ---- So much History regarding them, " Plus " the last year or so !!! ;) ------------ anyway, hope it soon and " Enjoy " when they arrive !!

I just bought three at Al Simmons today. By no means are collectors items. all were refurbs and have some parts electropenciled. They are in great condition and must be fired. All were made by TULA, 1951 dated and two 1952 dates. I even got the shipping crate for free.

I wonder if there truly are any collector grade rifles in the entire shipment or if select grade will get you a nice refurb that matches with some electropenciled parts?

Those look great. I hope the SIR ones look as good. I wonder if they are from the BELL shipment or the other importer? Laminate or Birch stocks?

Anyway it looks like they are in the country right now and are just waiting to reach our hot little hands.
