If you could only have one gun for the rest of your life, and it had to be a 1911, what would you choose?

Remember that I live in the States and I can own high capacity magazines. In my present state of mind, I would own a Para P14 similar to the one I put together from a kit. This gun isn't perfect for carry but it is as good as they come for car/truck/range/home protection use. Regards, Richard
