Got a refurbished 1951 Tula from Milarm. $405 w/ tax including 1120 rounds of Czech.
It has a beautiful blotchy birch stock with matching #'s everywhere but the trigger. ###Xed out stock as well (I like this). It has some cool cyrillic letters starting the serial #.

I brought it home last Saturday morning and cleaned it, then off to Genesee range for ~100 rounds. Now she's cleaned up and put away.


This makes waiting for my Type-97 a lot easier....

lol, 48 hours and DHL hasnt updated their tracking for me still

every other time I've had something shipped to me by them, it shows the pickup of the package 10 minutes after it was actually picked up

So all SKS manufactured between 51-56 have chromed barrels? Or is it only the refurbs?

part of 1951-56 has chrome bore including refurb of those years .

1949- part of 1951 has non chrome . if the non chrome barrel is worn and needs replacing then they would replace it with a chrome , thats one advantage of having refurbs , old wore out parts gets replace with new parts so refurb is a good thing.
