In case you are unaware, Different is probably the preeminent M-14 guru in the world. You should immediately buy a copy of his book and if he posts on a subject that subject is pretty much over.

As far as the "where and how much" build it yourself and price depends on what you put on it. This would appear to be built of readily available parts.

Different is a most helpful M14 lover. I've had many conversations with him and found him to be one of the most honest sources of techie M14 knowledge. We are lucky to have him in our community. Yup, IIRC, he is a CGNutter, also!

Get his book! I like his writing style! No nonsense and to the point!

The collapsible stock is not sage. You can see where the collapsible rails would normally run. The front looks like they took about six inches off.

You can see where the collapsible rails would normally run.
The front looks like they took about six inches off.

It's definitely a SAGE EBR. ~ Lt. Tyson cut the chassis stock all the
way back beyond the op rod guide block and relocated the side rails.
The barrel is as free floated as it can get. The ARMS #18 is a nice touch.

Different's M1A site is an excellent place for anyone that's interested in the M14 pattern rifle.

That Lt. Tyson cut with the floating barrel got my attention. Very, very nice. It must be a bit lighter than full chassis versions. Wow.
