it should be fine, mine was a bit loose, but then again, HOW loose are we taling about here? did you align the hole in the slide and barrel to the take down lever?

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what you mean by takedown lever. I make sure the slide stop goes through the barrel linkage.

After confirming with various interweb instructions for dis/reassembly... I dunno. I guess mine is loose.

So let me ask you other M213 owners this... Lock your slide back. Shake your gun or wiggle the barrel from the muzzle end. Does the barrel rattle around a fair bit, watching through the ejection port at the chamber end? Mine does, that's all. (And obviously most of that goes away when the slide returns.)

Please order online. Thanx

Small question.. when people order two in one order, do you process and ship both at once or one at a time?

I've ordered/paid for two and received only one so far; the CFC is unaware of there being a second one coming (no second transfer has been initiated according to the CFC).

I've already sent you an e-mail on Monday inquiring about it, but haven't got a reply back (I figured that maybe you're too busy with all the orders). Thanks!

:)

P.S. Order #3938206 (Dec. 24th 2008).

If the barrel 'seems' loose while the slide is pulled back, don't worry about it! I have 3 military non-beater semi-autos so far (Walther P-38 in a new condition, VIS-35 in VG + and the new M213 Tokarev in question) and ALL of them have considerable play in the barrel with the slide pulled back. You can actually move the barrel forward, backwards and to the sides with your fingers.

The magic happens when you close the slide shut: this is when everything falls into place and is ready to fire. This is when any play in the barrel would be dangerous, but not while the slide is retracted back.

The CFO called for proof of my club membership so that they could complete the transfer. Should be in my hands next week, hopefully!

Yes, the barrel rattles a bit.

I got mine.

Now, how'n the hell do you get the grips off?
Look inside the magwell slot, there is a little plate that needs to be rotated a bit for the grip to come loose. Careful, mine were both cracked at the center rivet when I received it and one broke completely in half. I really didn't care as they are kinda ugly and I am making walnut grips for it anyways.

Should I see if my registration begin on the CFC website ??

I receive the proceed email feb 17th and still nothing from CFC or Canam

what's the average time before transfer ?

Is this the UN mandated ID foolishness we've been told to expect?

CN (Country of manufacture)

08 (Year of, what, initial sale? Manufacture? Initial exportation? Who freakin' knows)

CA (Initial country of sale)

Seems kinda pointless to put it on the slide, but then again, was there ever a point to this?

Crikey...they're doing it...WTF???? I'm writing my representative on the UN immediately...

UPDATE: Apparently I don't have a representative at the Central Government of the New World Order. All the folks there are appointees, mostly from tinpot dictators and banana republics, and they don't care what you and I think.

Is this thing mandatory to have as per the CFC? Shouldn't be, as it has nothing to do with the serial number. Besides, it seems like it's painted on... and should be easy enough to remove.

Thought of the day: The UN and everything in it is just plain useless!
