When I ordered my T97, despite having no funds whatsoever to get it ( had to increase my CC limit to get it ) , my main motivator was that it's non-restricted and I've always wanted a bullpup. But the drama that came with it is a huge bonus for sure, it's so funny to read all the post of people flipping out.

At first I was kinda concerned about Canada Ammo's lack of info, but when I found out the real story, i know it's just a waiting game, and a very entertaining one at that.

The only thing that is going to be prohibited/restricted about the Type 97 will be creating new threads on CGN.

I am very concerned that the Type 97A will be classed as prohibited because it is a bullpup but that doesn't make sense because there are other bullpups out there already. Maybe the RCMP is concerned about the fact that we can use 10 shot LAR15 pistol mags in them. Who knows. I wrote a letter to CFC with all kinds of questions about the status of our T97's. Just waiting for a reply.
