I'm beginning to think CanAm cares less and less about their customer's concerns.
After all, they took our money so they're no longer on the hook so why should they give a s**t that we're frustrated with having paid for something they have yet to deliver. Add to that they have closed or locked threads that contain any criticism on how they have handled this.
And let's face it, who hasn't consider the possibility that we have been scammed and that we will all be fighting with our credit card companies to claw back our money after we find out they have skipped town. You know the thought has crossed your mind.
Despite their size and any opinion on them bringing cool guns into Canada, I'm sure this will affect consumer confidence and their sales in the future. I know it will for me.

Any body that thinks Canada Ammo is going to lock their doors and run off to China with your particular piddly visa order can simply call them and cancel.

I know you are wrong ,Like all people in business they want there business to succeed they want to have repeat customers ,they want happy customers sometimes that is extremely hard to reach that goal. The reality of businesses involved in the firearms market is that nothing ever goes according to plan .Orders getting bumped for a larger customer , Shipping companies sending your container on a world tour , The delay at the docks to get the containers unload , the delay to get CBSA to inspect and release the container. CBSA holding your merchandise till the RCMP Firearms lab gives it authorization to release the container. And the fact that the RCMP and CBSA wont talk to you till after it is Either Seized or Released.
They do care and they are not of the hook !What do you want them to do come over to your house and Tuck you in to bed and hold your hand and tell you a story.
Have you ever dealt with the Federal government ? Didn't think so it can be along and audoross task that has many i to dot and t to cross . You and many others think the guy's from CanAm are off having a holiday they have a business to run they didn't expect this after all the rifles were approved for export
The reason the posts have been locked is that some people get they panties wound up so tight it turns into a ##### fight and accusations and personal insults start flying .

It seems that many younger people have a problem that in this day of instant gratification from everything from Fast food to fast ###ual gratification people just cannot wait they want it not tomorrow or the next day they want it NOW
Simple solution if you believe that Can Am has scammed you ask for a refund he will give your money back there are many people that are waiting on a list to get ther hands on your T 97.As for buying cool stuff if you don't like the way he operates his business don't buy from him it doesn't get any simpler than that.
Sometimes all the best plans get tossed aside because something or someone derails the plan .The RCMP are taking there time on the inspection process .

WTF - why would you do that? People are simply discussing their concerns and that's grounds for locking or deleting the thread? People aren't allowed to complain about what they perceive as poor service? Why would you care if people speculate especially since they can be addressed by CanAm giving a real update?
I think people have been quite clear about what they want - a frickin' update or something more than "still at customs". For christ's sake, they haven't updated their site since January and it's the middle of March. There has been zero movement and they have made no effort to do s**t about it.
Did you get a crystal ball or something? You have no idea how old I am. If I wanted it now, I wouldn't have pre-ordered. I want it when promised or some effort made to get it to me. Do I get to assume you are an old FUDD because you are less concerned?
You and others have made that offer, but I have never seen CanAm back that offer up so unless you own the company, don't make claims on behalf of them. And I agree with you, I will seriously consider ever purchasing from them again but that doesn't do s**t for the current situation does it.

You have not said anything wrong, some people just have to defend certain companies just because they shop there, you have made very legitimate points in your posts. You have not been rude or insulting do not worry about it.

You will have customers for life.
Original idea!! Not! every other company doesn't bill until rifles are in their shop!!
If you do this, I will sing you praises and buy from you going forward.

If any of you are that hard up for $895 or the interest on it maybe you should review your financial priorities. Any reputable credit card company will refund your money with minimal hassle. CanAm didn't plan this. Relax, this business is not the same as anything else.
Doing that did actually made me feel better.
I just came to the realization that this is exactly what the Liberals want us to do - to make life a living hell for businesses and gun owners and get them to turn on one another. (That's what Lee. Ermey says the liberals in America do).
They want to make it so hard for businesses to get guns, they either don't bother or inflate the costs; On the other hand, they want to make it so frustrating for us gun owners, we give up on the sport/hobby (honestly, I was feeling that way last night) - but I snapped out of it this morning when I looked at my room full of .22 and 12 guage ammo.
Here's another thing you guys can do - make the first target you'll shoot with your T97A.
