Just a word to all...
I picked up a 10 rifle crate for $40 from the store I bought the SKS from. I am building a gun-room under the stairwell that will be virtualy impenetrable. To make room in my safes for my desired weaponry I thought I may as well store 22's, pellet guns and airsoft seperatly. What better place than a crate designed to hold rifles? Just thought I'd share the idea in case anyone is interested.

May be I can find one for some good use.
 
I thought the SKS crates held 20 rifles each?

Either way, you figure they would have given them to you guys.

What would they have done otherwise, besides breaking them up and throwing them out?
 
So, I got ripped off; $40 Canadian? I drank that this morning. They came in 10 rilfes per crate and some at 15. They aren't perfect, but nostalgiac and with the customs documents with serial #'s. Makes for a unique object of interest.
The rifle went for $225, so 10 should go for $2250, but for a bulk deal I'd offer $2000 even. (and $40 for the crate)
 
I don't have a camera to take the pics, but my son does. When he gets back I'll get him to snap some. I Googled it, but there were no outer pics. You could try some different key words though, or different engine.

These are not my crates. I found images of them on a forum from a seller selling 10 Yugos and the crate as a kit. I now plan to build one with these photos.

These crates house 10 Yugos with oilers, ammo pouches, and straps.
