I'm watching Top Sniper on A&E

I watch it too picked up some good tips for target shooting and hunting alike... I was a two day special on the military channel from Fort Benning... with 4 hours coverage ... My favourite tip was making a "birdnest" which involves taking grass and jamming it in the end of your scope to reduce reflection and help blend into your surroundings. I was like woh did I just see what I though and then they explained it... I would love to try the competition I know I would be totally distroyed by the end of the first stage... when I was shooting 600 yards I would walk to and from the target to check the shots and then slow my heart rate down a bit... but I can only imagine what its like to shoot while you heart is pumping from running. Interesting thing I found too is for most of the shooting with 308's it was done less then 1000 yards and for all the arm chair snipers out there these guys miss, just like everyone else sometimes.

yeah stated to air on Monday night. the Military channel come with my digital cable package. show was pretty sweet. i learned a few things..... cant wait to hit the range again. all my tables are filled out, and ready to ping in at 600 yards .

Did you guys notice in episodes 1 and 3 where the AMU (Army Marksmanship Unit) was building the target rifle whose stock they were using. I believe it to be one of our own Ian Robertson' H&H model.

Congrats to Ian on an outstanding product
