I've been talking to some of the old time SKS Collectors about these letter series. Popular belief is that there are 5 letters in the series G D E I K. I've only seen D,I,K myself. Some think G was not used.

Can Canada absorb another two large shipments of Russian SKSs? :confused::confused:

I think if the shooters can be kept at $225 or so,and the mint ones at no more than $325 they'll move. But if the shooters are $275 I don't think they'll sell,and the same for the collector types if they are over $350. The market is there,but only at certain price points. It's the real nice refurbs that fall in between that could very quickly become white elephants in the future if thousands of them are dropped on the market at too high of a price.
 
------- Just wanted to say, that my Shipment from Moving Target, arrived and I was Very pleased, Two Unissued 1954 Tula,s , in Very Good Condition, Great wood, No refurb marking of any kind , all numbers match, of course. Gold Bayo,s, Bores excellent, Very bright !! Bluing very good, and all the other Goodies as well. No pictures at this time to share, will try to later. Ed, at Moving Target, I highly Recommend !!!!! :D Very Happy !!!!
