I haven't pulled out the Old Farmers Almanac to see what the weather will be like, but I hope there is no rain.
I will be tenting too, but can always climb in the back of the Four runner if worse comes to worse.

I know we have to bring our own food, but what are the cooking facilities like?
Or do I just have to set my Chef Boyardee out in the sun for a while?
 
how much land is there? a 1/4 section? half section? full section or more? just thinking that with 25-40 shooters from the looks of it, would be good to spread out quite a bit for safety's sake. not trying to be a downer but just a little safety paranoid, especially around a couple dozen folks i never met!

Near as I can guess we have a few TOWNSHIPS of land available.

A township is 36 sections. A section is 640 acres. I'd guess at around 100,000 acres perhaps? maybe a bit more. Kind of hard for me to know for sure because I dont know how much land each landowner owns :D

Since I am coming with the wife & our baby (will be about 9months old than) We will be staying at my parents (about 20mi north)

But I will prob hang around the campfire one night for lies.. (oops, mean stories)

If time works out too, I might bring the boat down and go fishing for a day (keeps me in the wifes good books!)
 
Lies?? You are planning to spend most of your time around Tripalms fire for sure...

If you decide to use the bathroom in his camper, make sure you get good directions, or have a map...dont want anybody getting lost in there again!! Took a good couple of hours to find Pharoah after he went for a swim!! Got lost on his way out!! LOL!! Found him on the third floor by the guest bedroom.
 
How exactly is this set up, people roving around pastures firing in all directions? or actually some safety in mind, firing in one direction because I'm sure we all know "someone" that has to be told to watch the hell out where your pointing that thing!
Haven't heard of any mishaps but can see it coming with a bunch of strangers converging on a pasture to light up some critters, keep safe everyone.
 
I'm already ahead of you. I've got my tactical field full of strangers with .22's body armour ready to roll.
