I have been told that .44 Mag is the same chamber size as .410....... at least that you can shoot .44mag out of a .410 Shot gun (if it has no choke)......
That said I don't think you should go out and try .410 shot shells in your .44mag revolver. That just seems like a good way to KB either your gun or yourself!

Ya, but I know that the TJ is marketed for shoting a .410 and .45
Just because a cartridge fits does not make it safe. 44mag is over double the pressure of .410. You might not blow up, but why chance it? Don't fire guns with cartridges they aren't intended to fire.
but you can make .44 mag black powder and they are ok. in 410's
Why not just reload shot in the cal. that your gun is chambered for? The .44 and .45 Colt's make excellent shot cartridges, the bigger rifle cartridges like the 45/70 and Sharps ctgs. can hold a bigger payload then the .410. The downside is that with the rifled barrels, patterns can be spotty.

I reload shotshells in my .44 magnum. I once bought a bunch of Old Speer .44 mag shot capsules on the exchange ans they work like a hot damn!
I'd LOVE to go on a shopping spree at that company. Rocket launchers, guided missiles, six barrelled 30mm antiaircraft guns...sheesh time to change my pants.
Ive skimmed through other forums and found quality faults with it (but some complained this was due to the wrong length of 3"). Mostly I was asking whether any other gun beyond this one is offered (yes primarily due to the presumption that quality might not be up to par)
If anyone has this and wants to tell me how quality has been for them I am all ears.

Yeah, as far as I know the most common guns shooting 410/45LC are the judge, BFR, and snakeslayer (derringer).
The BFR is a long barrel, single action revolver. We recently had nice one in 45-70.
The snake slayer is a double barreled derringer. They're nice too, but the factory cannot keep up with demand. We've been back-ordered for several months with no ETA still.
From what I've heard the judge is a good mid-level revolver. I am wondering if any kabooms have been to people foolishly firing 454 casull out of it? As far as I know the taurus judge has not been available in Canada yet. The only reason it's not yet in Canada is because they are constantly sold out at all American distributors.

One of the guys @ my gun club has one on order, he just got word from the guy he ordered from that is now in the country and is winging its way to him...... I am looking forward to seeing it..... and maybe shooting it when it gets here.
How are the snakeslayer not prohib... they seem very small in pictures.
