How do these guns shoot? I've read they are very accurate.
 
inherently, i don't think they are any more or less accurate as the larger frame glocks. however, depending on your hand size, it may grip well for you or not at all. i found it a lil small to grip.
 
The grip size has little to do with the "accuracy" of the firearm. Let me say this yet again. ACCURACY IS A FUNCTION OF THE SHOOTER NOT THE EQUIPMENT. That being said, they do take a little getting used to. Gripping the pistol with only two fingers instead of three is not the norm and takes some time to get accustomed to. The addition of the finger tab floor plates defeats the purpose. Adding the third finger position equates to the same grip(and grip size) provided in a Glock 19/23 without any gain in performance or capacity.

How does it shoot? I shoot my G26 as well as my G17. Do they feel the same when shooting? No. The reduced length and mass in the slide as well as the reduced overall mass of the pistol increases the felt recoil. Its not painful but it is noticeable. The Glock sub-compact line was designed as a back up gun and/or concealed carry option. They shoot well, they work like any other Glock, the only difference is in their dimensions.

The G27 is just as accurate as the full size G22. But it's nasty to shoot & torques quite a bit in your hand.... ;)

Questar has some G27 and Blueline is expecting a shipment of G26's.

All have an ugly 106mm barrel sticking almost an inch past the front of the slide.

If the grip size is wrong for your hands, it will degrade your accuracy, a good shooter can compensate for it. Your grip and the gun design is the interface between you and the gun, therefore it is important that it fits you.

Your grip helps you master the fundamentals of marksmanship and aids in rapid shooting. It is not required to make hits. Your grip is not the most important factor when shooting. Sight alignment and trigger squeeze are far more important. Most semi autos have near identical grip sizes, kind of like hockey sticks.

I have a G27 and G30 and I like them both. The G27 is more versatile as I can shoot 40 S&W plus 9mm and 357 Sig by changing the barrel. The 9mm conversion works better using 9mm magazines. Lastly, the 357 Sig is a hoot to shoot in the G27. Regards, Richard:)
 
I find that the shorter length requires me to 'pull down' on the gun less in order to bring the sights on target; due to the steep grip angle of the Glock.

For that reason, I shoot the shorties better than the full sized models. They're fun too.
 
I've got a G27 with a ported 357SIG barrel. Its a snappy little thing. The grip is a little too small, so I added an extension to the mag.

while i agree that sight alignment and trigger squeeze are very important, if your grip is wrong, the gun will not shoot properly. All 3 need to be involved for good shooting. Grip angle & size on various guns play a factor, more so if your hand is not average in size.

Grip is not overly important, I've fired my Glock with all four fingers around the grip and used a pencil to pull the trigger. I've had a buddy pull the trigger. I watched a buddy shoot his pistol over his shoulder with another buddy aligning the sights on target and make hits. A firm grip utilizing leading thumbs is sufficient for all but those with abnormally small hands. Hence the video I posted in another thread of an 11 year old girl making hits.
