AT LONG LAST our export permit from the US State Department received approval.

We are in the process of updating our website as we just received a major shipment from Leapers, scopes, mounts, carry cases, vests, etc, etc....

Congrats, any idea what they will be like, had a 3x12 30mm tube , it was heavy,and noticed a bit of slop in the dials,focus knob was good. glass and reticle excellent.

The shipment arrived less than a week ago, new items are being photographed, the layout is being prepared, descriptions are done, the update will take place over the next few days....

This may be a dumb question But aren't Leaper scopes made in China ?
Why would you need a US export permit ?

Leapers distributes from the US.

Yes they are made in China, but since we take delivery of some products from their US distribution warehouse we need US permits.

The other items that we get from China are NOT subject to US State Dept controls.
