LAR-15 Mag couplers

This is a great example of a poorly thought out product.

The fact that they are selling doesn't surprise.

But let's see: dirt & debris in the magazine, bullets falling out & bent feed lips?

I don't need a $50 product to go to 20 rounds.

It's not necessary.

I can buy 1 of these for $4.95. from Del Ton and go to 20 rounds if I choose.

I can see "potential" use to go to 40 though, but not with your current product.

You'd have to make a magazine coupler and extender in one to join four magazines for a total of 40 but then, you'll still have all of those problems.

And if it costs $100, I wouldn't be surprised, but like real estate, I am not the sucker who is buying.

LOL.

$50.

LOL.

Everyone, stop being :p\SSES. Innovation and gumption should be appreciated, not knocked.

When a "designer" comes on here foolish enough to brag how about much money he is making on a $6 part, I don't see how that can be good for the firearms business community.

It's embarASSing.

Even "Realtors" (which is trademarked by the way) are getting involved in the leeching process.

This post should be made an example.

STICKY: how to pay more for worthless hardware that you think you must have.

Seriously, $50 for this part?

No.

I say this because it isn't a reasonable price.

Frankly, it's ridiculous.

$8.95.

My point is not about innovation. Innovation is welcome. Apparently that is R. Brissette's idea, good for him. It's not Thomas' idea - that's for sure.

It can't be about designing or product development either, because that was made by Mr Joe Dlask.

This is about a liar, a NOBODY, who comes here and wants to take credit for other peoples work and skills. Please read his posts.

If you read my post carefully, I said" other people's money, other people's time, and other people's skill. NOT IDEA! Read it again carefully! Who is the liar?

LOL.

The 10 rd pistol mags may be to short to fit into the coupler and have enough exposed mag to fit in an AR magwell---
Hence the need for a wedge coupler

OMG

Things are getting out of hand! Firearms are just a hobby for me. Repeat, just a hobby. Canadiangunnutz is just for entertainment. Repeat, just for entertainment! I would like to apologize to 22short_Improved, Kaiser Sose, and anybody that I may have offended. Even though you, Kaiser Sose, called me a liar. I don't hate you! I just got caught up in the heat of the moment. Being a newbie, I learned a lot from this. To Kaiser Sose, I know that you're not a bad person. I sure you're a nice guy when not chating with me in Gunnutz. How do I know this? Because Joe dosen't associate with shady people! I hope you and 22short will accept my apology! My intentions were not upset anybody. I only wanted to promote my couplers. Yes, I didn't know about any other threads when I conceived this project! I'm sure there are many others that thought about this coupler but were too busy working to survive and paying taxes. We all don't want enemies but we all want good friends. I wish to have constructive conversation with you and 22short. I'm, also, sure that I can learn a few things from you two.

P.S. Please take care, I hope you guys are willing to chat with me as friends!!!

+1 for the entrepreneurship Thomas, but don't knock that bed down with your inflated ego and your arrogance. Everywhere you read on this forum there are self called designers. First Armedsask and others, now this...

Just so you know, the people from Dlask Arms confirmed that Mr Joe Dlask designed it (for you) in the form that it is now and can be seen on his website. You only brought to him a hand drawing, a sketch possibly made after you have read about Rylan Brissette original idea in the fore mentioned thread. That's the only thing you did, and now you are posing here as a designer and talking like you know what you are talking about.
You are a fake.
Mr Dlask did the actual product development and he did a very good job, as he always does. Is he the one you called “my machinist”?

You made me curious about the other items you claim to have designed. I promised I will be back with most of the details you left out. These were only some. More to come. Leave it to me. It won't take very long.

So what???

He brought it to market.

Did Rylan or Joe bring it to market?

Did Ford invent the car? No he brought it to the larger market with the assembly line.

Unfortunatly Canada is filled with people who consider themselves inventers, designers etc. which is great, but the key is getting the product to market first, in quantity.

Then if they have done some research, or have good timing, the market rewards them, if not.......

LAR couplers

Just tried them -
Very tight close tolerance precision maching.
Bulletproof design.
Worth every penny.
By using mag couplers I now have 2 -40 rd mags :dancingbanana:

By the way - avoid using plastic couplers - the crack from the vibration when you drop them on the ground.

2 40s, or 2 20s?
