I will join the chorus here telling people to watch out for LEO. This guy refused to send me a nice MKII because his no reserve auction didn't go high enough. When I won a different auction for a fair price he did ship the antique. When it arrived it had broken parts, repaired parts and was not at all as advertised. I didn't send it back because I heard from others he won't send the money. He takes pictures to omit problems, I don't trust him at all.

This post is a familiar story. Add in the promise of refunds that never arrive, delaying feedback until the oportunity to leave feedback expires (90 days), and you have a good idea what to expect from FairFaxx - Leo Hamel.
This is the fellow who refered to Canadians as Southpark charactors. Our heads open @ the mouth when we speak.
this is good advice, I few years ago I had some guy rip me off on Ebay from Florida. Wouldnt give me a refund. Anyways after many complaints with no action, I got all his contact information and told him I was going to contact local law enforcement in his area and charge him with fraud and mail fraud. THe US postal service will actually help on occasion. I got my cash back within a couple of days.

When the piece of crap I bought arrived the frame was so bent the hammer wouldn't move. He also priced the declaration twice what I paid so I had to pay double what I should have for duty. The guy is a snake that I would never deal with again.

Thank you for your willingness to let us know about this man. It sounds like in addition to the RCMP you should contact the office of the Attorney General for the State this man lives in. Good luck with whatever you can do to shut this guy down.

I don't buy from him anymore, since the shipment of crap came in and I can't get it straightened out.
I've done almost $10,000 worth of business with this A$$ and he still ripped me off.
He is frothing at the mouth... lol.
This is a quote from the above mentioned auction:

I would think people would see that and start to wonder about Leo Hamel's sanity.
P.S. That Mk III is NOT a legal Canadian antique and I think he sold that gun to some poor sucker about 5 or 6 months ago. The guy probably paid for it and Leo didn't send it out, now he's selling it again.
