Now HERE is a 375! ** UPDATE with pics!**

I had this one in for a facelift .....

The 22" stainless King bbl got a set of NECG sights, action, bbl and sights got a bead blast and blueing job. Stock was replaced with a Boyds laminated with Decelerator. I shortened the forend and hogged out the buttstock and forend to reduce weight. R&B are all steel Warne QD Weaver style. With 2.5x8 it weighs 9.25lbs as shown.

I would like to thank Kim Jepson for the very kind pricing on the stock and pad. OK .... He gave them to me FOC.

Dennis Sorenson did all the metal and bedding work on the gun with his usual excellence and very fast turnover. His kind advice helped me do the finish on the stock.

Beautiful rifle and an excellent cartridge/cal choice.

I'm looking to do the same thing but chambered in 375RUM with a s/s action and black/gray laminate stock... :D

That's the budget job post pimping. I got looking at your laminated 375 Ruger and liked it, so ........

.

Well, it turned out great IMO. I actually like the brown laminates quite a bit more than the grey...... The two tone metal work is funky cool too...:)

Good scope choice. I'm thinking same or the 1.5-5, still can't decide. No rush.

Now that's a wildcat I can dig. No FF, saves lots of $, time & barrel life.
....... and fits right into a 98 w/o major renovations.

In some ways it's better than the Ruger, except factory ammo can't be had for it, which is moot if you're a handloader anyways.
