Okay I was just at the range and put twenty rounds down range and then all of the sudden the trigger pull increase almost two fold I would say. Its completely stock with about 4000 rounds down the tube with no problems until now. Whats up with this?

Did you field strip it? Everything look right? Is it in need of cleaning? Unless you can put up a pic of something that doesn't look right, it'll just be guesses, I'm afraid. I've never had this prob, nor heard of it, and this place is pretty much where I live.

Is this increase in pull permanent and constant or did it happen once and now gone ??

If you dry fire it with the slide removed and manually reset the trigger, is it still the same ??

It comes and goes and its been cleaned inside and out after every trip to the range and I mean completely field stripped so its not fouling. If I play with the "sear" a bit it will loosen up and goes back to normal and about one clip through its back again?!? I'm lost. Is there a Glock repair/armourer in SK? I'm half tempted to give it to my friend on the Saskatoon City Police, they use the same Glock so I figure they may be able to figure it out.

it could be crud in the trigger mech or the Firing Pin channel may have some stuff in there too. Take your friend up on the offer, have a glock armorer give it the once over....4000 rds - what ammo are you using? If you were local to me (ont) I would do it for ya.

Detail strip it and clean the connector/trigger bar area and the firing pin channel. The firing pin channel must be free of all debris or oil, it must be completely dry. The connector area must be also free of drebris and the place where it come in contact with the trigger bar must be lubed but not too much.

Here is a good video to learn to detail strip a GLOCK pistol (Minus the hammering of the frame pins, DO NOT USE A HAMMER TO REMOVE THE FRAME PINS! just push them gently out with a punch.)

Are you using the stock 5 lbs trigger spring or the NY1? If you are using the standard spring, check to see if he's still in place and work correctly.

I do detail strip it after every session as I said before, there is no crud anywhere on the gun. Crap in the trigger was my first guess to but I stripped it right down to see and clean its once more to play it safe but its still there.....

There's no need to detail strip a Glock after every range session. Sure, wipe it down and run a bore snake through it, but detail stripping after every session is NOT needed. Perhaps the frequency of your detail strips means you bent/broke/or lost a part?

I know its NOT needed but this way there is no crud and I haven't lost any pieces. I actually wish I had then this would be an easy problem to figure out...

You can't dry fire a Glock with the slide removed..

TDC

You can operate the trigger back and forth though to confirm or eliminate that area as the problem......

A good cleaning will likely solve your issues, if it persists strip the gun down completely and clean very well. If that doesn't work then something is probably wrong with your gun.

You can only work the trigger with the aid of your finger/thumb, unlike a SIG or Beretta where you can dry fire the hammer without the slide.

well I'm sitting here at work with my lower sitting on the counter beside me and I took it apart one more time(yes yes completely) and there seems to nothing worn what so ever BUT I did notice the piece of metal that connects the trigger to the firing system in the grip is VERY VERY rough!? This has never been a problem in the past so why would it arise now?

My Sig never give me trouble....
