I will get it set up in spring or summer.

It will be open to anyone.

The range sets the rules on things such as holster qualification however as far as I know Mil/LE are good to go for this.

It would be good to have you guys down.

I know Reaper will be attending and more than likely Starlight.

Guelph did one of these in the late 90"s and it was awesome!

'My first attempt at holding a match *sniff *sniff... Oh the memories...

Guelph was the venue, but the match was put together primarily by glocker and myself with assistance from volunteers from Burlington Rifle & Revolver... We just rented Guelph for the day.

That sounds like good fun to me, we've got lots of room on that 100yd range as you know. I would like to offer my time for: setup, SO, etc. as well, if you are looking for people. I'm sure some of the other regulars from NDRGC, would also be happy to help. I know we would all like to see some regular matches of all sorts starting to come out of Napanee. As much as I look forward to what is left of this shooting season, I think next summer will be even busier.

No squads. The way it will be set up is each person will run through 1 stage then move to the second.

You shoot when you arrive. If you don't have your gear ready to go, you don't shoot till you're ready and some one else will shoot ahead of you.

After you shoot, we will ask you to help patch and score for the next shooter.

If there is a break when no one is shooting then you can run through again. This might have a small fee attached to it ;)

Ooh, flexibility. I LIKE that idea. That should help things running smoothly all right. And at least quickly. Although, I'd like to suggest "admin areas" to the rear of the stages so that shooters don't see what they're up against until they step up to the line... Just a thought, to make it, well, more fun.

would you be able to run just the carbine since it is only 100m?

Rather than the long rifle or pistol?

I think that the long rifle, carbine and pistol concept is a good one. Especially, say, if the shots would have to be made through small openings, say, 4-inch squares...

However, if you don't need your pistol because you're loaded to the gills with carbine mags, I think that it shouldn't be an issue if you can make it work. After all, a pistol is a backup, right?
