How do you store you bolt action ?

How do you store you bolt action ? Do you compleately remove the bolt from you riffle ? Or do you leave it in with a trigger or cable lock ?

Real question Bolt in ? Bolt out ?

Gun safe for me too. The problem in removing the bolts is when you have plenty of similar rifles... I let you imagine the nightmare of trying to find the right rifle between 20 Mausers....

I store them in the safe, with bolts open, to prevent marking the next one...No trigger locks, ever. Not even in transit.

When I first got started I pulled the bolt. Only took forgetting it once / grabbing the wrong bolt once to cure that problem.

I the gun safe with out any other locks on them. I did that trigger lock once but when I went out duck hunting and forgot to take off the lock. Had no keys with me. Never again.
