Holy MOly lots of m14 poly's

I didnt get a poly, but I did take delivery of my new M14S from Marstar today.... first impresssions after cleaning off all the cosmo, is its nice, weight feels about the same as my russian SKS's, but the action doesnt feel as smooth/clean as the SKS.

Now I just have to get it out to the range for some test shots
 
They had 41 left of the black ones...make that 40 since I ordered mine. Was wondering how to explain to the wife as well as I haven't even fired my SKS. Then I realized I could put it on layaway :) Give me some breathing space. Can't wait to get it though...

It's simple really, You need one for shooting, one for tinkering with/spare parts, and one was for a "friend" who is waiting on his PAL. At least that would be the story I'd use :D
 
Those look pretty sweet, i might have to risk a yelling from dear old dad and get one. He was not to thrilled about my last purchase of a minty 1950 Long Branch Lee Enfield. He thinks I spent too much of my money.

One of the better ones I hear was from my friends guitar store. Honey, this guitar, Owned it for years, I loaned it to Joe a year ago and just got it back. She won't remember that you never owned it. Or at least you hope not.

Camo

Heck, I got the camo one just to be different. Don't hunt unless it's paper, but I didn't have a camo gun in my case and you know us guys, just to have something different each time from the rest...If I get tired of it, I'll just paint it...

Did you get a price from CT? Called, $529, picking one up. Wife's gonna freak as I begged on a bolt .308 from a vendor on here, so I'll just use a truck load of CT money to keep the invoice down, thanx for the heads-up mjohn7
