Robertson Stocks

Got to fondle one at my gunsmiths shop...I think I left a little drool on it too. :D :D

If I had the $$ to spend on a stock....it would be a Robertson.

I have one coming for a 338 LM build.

I've seen one side by side with a Macmillian. Liked the Robertson stock better. Better fit/finish on it, less expensive and Canadian. Plus you can order it with the features that you want.

Here is one. They are nice for sure. Canadian product to boot!!!!!!!

Ian Robertson produces not only the finest composite stocks in Canada, he makes better stocks than McMillan. Any Canadian precision shooter worth his salt has heard of or owned a Robertson stock. Lurk on any forum or website where the best shooters in the worlds hang out and "Robertson COmposites" will be mentioned at some point. This forum tends to cater to the "Stevens 200" crowd, but make no mistake, Robertson stocks are as fine as you are going to get anywhere in the world.

I have 2 of these, both are outstanding. When I need another stock, it will be one of Ian's

Robertson

Stocks are widely used by Benchrest shooters around the world in the BRX model which was designed by Speedy and the new JTR which was designed by some of our own Canadian BR shooters.

The JTR will be my next stock for my next BR gun build.

I need not say more than that.

Does he offer a stock similar to A5?

Yup. Which is what I have coming for my 338. It's their tactical stock.

A buddy of mine has it on his 338 and I was able to compare it side by side with an A5. No comparison. The Robertson Stock was nicer. Plus you can have it customized for you.

I've had one of his stocks for a while now and love it, I plan on another for a different project.
Alot of the O.R.A shooters use them as well.
I had no prob. with his web site and found alot of good information there , I also bought a Barnard action off of Ian.
