My Ruger 10/22 project (Small Update) PICS

Small Update
I Disassembled and gave her a good clean, Then I put a new Muzzle on aswell I had also installed a new Tuffer Buffer. Upon reassembly I installed the ole hex bolt which is a 100x better than the flathead bolt. Took off the side rails because they are not inuse. I left the top rail on for a foldable sight I am waiting on. I also took off the bipod (and put it on my savage combo .243) and replaced it with a grip. Topped it off with a sling, so I am pretty happy with it for now;).... Big thx to Rimfire sports and Mr Tuffer Buffer for great products and speedy post. Here are some pics

Yea Fabs said I could send him the barrel for threading, But I also thought there was one that just fit over the sight no?
Late on this but... Ones that fit over the sights are flash hiders/muzzle breaks not fake cans which do need the barrel threads. You know that obviously now though.

Looks good, anything done internally?

what is the over all length of the stock and barrel with an 18.5 barrel with the stock folded?
Thanks

Funny you ask because I just took a measurment today to biuld a custom case.

Anyways its 26½" w/o Muzzle 28" w/ Muzzle with the stock folded.

BTW thx for suggesting that website for the stock turned out good!!!

I saw one for the stock barrels that do that in the states just like a pipe with a notch in it to go over the site you probly could make it if you find the right size parts and just cut it out so it fits..

ronky, great thread / pics, especially your Flickr photos.

What was it on the stock that you needed to spray paint? Appears it's the underside / front section you have taped up for spraying, just wondering why?

Also ronky, am I missing something here on the combathunting site, but I can't select Canada as a "shipping to" country.

It the is used mostly in cars, it gives it a rubber grip. It works well, and if you don't like it it peels off.

Bummer, I really like the ATI, especially the price. How on earth did you get them to ship it, or is it a recent policy change on their end?

I guess its too much paperwork for what it would be worth to ship, and it must be a new policy because I ve never had so much trouble trying to order from the U.S. . I find that you cant get anything anymore, even rimfiresports.com.
I have been waiting 3 weeks already for a $40 order!!..
I am guessing its in customs

Too bad they don't just label their stuff hunting accessories or sporting goods.
Then again, with a business name like "Combat Hunting", there must be some raised eyebrows at the boarder.

I have friends in NYC, let's see what I can arrange...
