Very well done video, and it was a great idea to show the how almost all of our most common hunting rifles are derived from military arms. A semi is a semi, it's classification should not depend on what it looks like and what it is called.

I don't know which was smarter, the camo version or the expanded cartridge availability, with traditional hunting calibres...Both good business decisions...

If we could get them de-restricted I would own both a R-15 in 223 and a R-25 in 308 Win in a heart beat.

Great Message, but...
That Remington is useless to me. I'll take that Swarovski scope mounted to that actor's rifle though... I'm not sure how well Remington's restricted AR is selling up here, but it won't be to me... (imo), I doubt you will ever see the AR be placed in it's proper spot as a non restricted rifle.

since Zumbo's faux pas a couple years ago i have noticed that lots of the american tv "hunting" shows have started doing pieces on hunting with ARs either to inform the public or their FUDD community that a gun is a gun is a gun....
it all helps IMHO...

i quite enjoy hunting with my evil black rifle (not an AR)....

While I'm not against it, I have a hard time understanding why. A good bolt action is just plain and simple a better hunting gun... the deer aren't charging you in waves.

sure, I'd like to see the AR de-restricted they're a blast to plink with, I'd also love a CCW but would I ever take that thing hunting? No, call me Fudd but I won't carry a plastic hunting rifle.
