Exactly, Wholesale Sports might as well advertise their powder fo $12.00 per pound, you can't lose money on what you don't have to sell.

Don't take the Wholesale prices in the catalog as gospel, a guy at work recently called about a scope and it was over $100 more than the current listed catalog price.

The catalogs are from 2008. The ones used at the store here in GP are anyways. So they are not current prices.

Now if your friend has a current catalog, he is the only one that I know of to have one.

A catalog that is only a year old is current for Wholesale, they only put one out every 3 years don't they?

Never had one for them. All I know if I want a price on something, they have to check the computer. Or I look and their website.

I don't know if this comment was directed at us but let me clarify our position on pricing. Reloading components and specificly powder has been difficult to get recently. We do not buy direct from the manufacturer but from different distributors and base our retail price on what we have to pay for that shipment. As you know prices have been going up on ammo and relaoding supplies being driven of course mainly by the hoarding going on in the USA. We do not raise our prices based on if we are the only ones with stock to take advantage of the local supply shortage(mainly Wholesale Sports). If that were the case then our prices would be constantly going up and down and if you are a regular customer you know that is not happening. We believe we are competitive in pricing and also we actually carry inventory because we buy from several different sources thus maintaining a regular supply(in most instances). Phil.

Actually recently a bunch of stuff at P+D is cheaper then WSS. It used to be pretty much everything but the service at P+D was worth the extra expense. But in last few months, maybe even a little longer some of the prices at WSS were more. Still it is nice to have both stores and I will continue to support both. If one doesnt have it the other usually does.
