Was a fun match today guys.......thanks for putting it on! Was a little on the cool side, what do you expect for fall, but the rain held off, and the squads were on time. Was also good to see a couple of guys out today, shooting their Qualifier Match. Hope to see them at some more Match's.

Thanks again!

Thanks to all for coming out.

We so lucked out with the nice weather. This time a year its a crap shoot and with the bugs in May and the heat in July Aug. I wanted to a have a fall match with nice fall weather. It all worked out and it was a great day.

It was also great to have AIM out as a supporting sponsor.

Happy thanksgiving!

Lucked out? In light of what the weather was like yesterday, I would say it might be time to go out and buy a lottery ticket!

Well done; it was loads of fun. And thanks for letting us set up the table!

Yes, it was a fun match today, haven't been out since provincials and truly enjoyed blast'n some targets today....
though it rained yesterday, the weather was calling for a good today fom a few days back...so, was quite surprised to see so many shooters back out today.....just don't get it.... there loss !!!
Thanks again to the crew for a great match !! :)

Maybe... :) :) :)
Listen, I am frustrated myself and am pretty vocal on this forum about posting match results.
In my eyes paying for a match is contract between shooters and organizers.
Organizers received money because they worked hard to set stages, the cleaned after the match and do a lot of work. Posting results however is still part of this contract or match, and waiting longer then 48hr is not acceptable!
Match is not completed without results.

I can't think of any other "Sport" I have been involved in, that I had to wait so long for results........not all clubs are this way, and you know who you are......I agree with Peter......if a club decides to put on a match, they have, at the very least, the obligation to the people that "PAID" the match fee to post the results in a timely manner......and by timely, I mean within 48 Hours........12 hours would be better.....and BTW, it is possible and doable..........Just my Opinion

I didn't like how long it was taking for some of the local matches...so 9 or 10 years ago...I stepped up and volunteered to do them...problem solved.

...see where I'm going with this ;)

Frankly as the person responsible for scoring the match I'm a little disappointed in some of the rhetoric in this thread. Anyone that expects results within 48 hours over a holiday weekend is being both unreasonable and unrealistic. In this case I was out of town for the weekend, but immediately started scoring the match on my return. After running a first draft from the data I decided to run the upgrade the program requested everytime it opened (dumb move on my part I admit). Once you run the upgrade a registration key is required to access the program ( a fact not mentioned before the upgrade). The folks at Win MSS tech support were great getting a key to me by noon on Friday. I circulated the draft to screen for errors and the final copy was submitted last night.

For every match we've scored we have either scored the match concurrently while it was taking place, screened the results and sent them off the next day: or we have scored the day after and submitted the results the following day. Sometimes unforseen things happen, in which case a little patience goes a long way.
