Hey All,

Rauch Tactical along with another board sponsor are beginning development of some accessories for the Tavor. There are a few things we have on the go right now none of which I can discuss openly on the boards just yet but I am asking for now asking for some input from CGNers.

Tell me what you want to see and why, no need for great detail but all input is appreciated. So far I'm really impressed with this rifle and I know we will have a few options that you guys are really gonna like.

Send me an email: sean@rauchtactical.com with your desires :D.

Cheers,

Sean

Are you guys ever going to get a website up and running so people know what you do manufacture?......my crystal ball isn't working.

.

I don't own a Tavor, but if I did, I think an adapter for the 3X magnfier "lug" to use Aimpoint 3X magnifiers, or EOTech Magnifiers would be a good idea.

That whole system seems to be pretty much ignored, and I think the tavor is more than capable of using a 3X magnifier!

a Gas deflector and a folding charging handle - so the kids wont hook their tavors on the school bag at the mall.......(in Israel)

1) Picatinny or Weaver rail like the Dlask model & 999's,
2) Tactical sling in other colours than black,
3) Bipod set up,
4) Cases
5) Any new idea around the box.

I would very much like to see an aluminum, or plastic cover for the rear magnification sight mount.
Cover that spot, and it would make the stock look so much cleaner.
I think that disc shaped thing is very prone to damage with that sharp edge.

It should be a snap to make something for that.

Don't make me carve my own!

1- A trigger that has no creep and a nice break...

2- A TAR21 brass catcher... that can adapt for your arm somehow...

3- A front rail/grip that is still somehow ergonomic...

My wish list...

Rear sling mount similar to the front mount (use HK clip).
Scope/magnifier mount that utilizes the rear attachment point behind the BUIS.
Quick and simple attachment (clip/snap on?) for a brass catcher.
Rail for bottom of front handguard.

If you are contemplating manufacture of a Tavor brass catcher, I would suggest a brass catcher for the Swiss Arms PE 90 rifles. The 2 Tavor's I have shot flip the brass out in a consistent pile at the 4:00-5:00 position. The PE90 throws the brass far and wide to the front. Probably more of a market for PE90 brass catchers than for the Tavor. There are more PE90's out there than there are Tavor's anyway.

A gas and spent casing deflector!

I would like to see a trigger kit for a lighter, smoother pull.
I would also go for a 20" match target barrel.
If the price was low enough I would try out a compact shell catcher.

Otherwise I think there are enough options already
Dlask & 999 have rails
A few manufacturers make breaks
Streamlight, etc. have lights
Everyone has slings

I'm planning to make a couple different styles.

How about a quick detachable rear sling swivel, that either attaches to a pin inserted in the rear stock hole. Or, a swivel on a pin that slides in and out (with a detente pin) allowing a QD capacity.

Don't forget to allow this swivel to freely turn 360 degrees:)

I'm not a big fan of sling mounts that swivel, that's why I'm making a non-spinning one to replace the front mount. To each their own.
