Come on guys what happening down there been 2 days no word from you.We need a update.
'Been to bizzy shooting

The match is completely amazing... The only down side is that it's made me realize how lame action shooting is at home. No fault of our own, but we just don't have the resources, will or freedom to shoot the way they can/do here.
This match is especially awsome as it's been put on/built with the help of the United States Army... Their Marksmanship Unit specifically, but they have access to
man power, real estate and equipment most clubs can only dream of.
I believe there are 270 shooters here... The AMU is doing an incredible job of running this thing... No patching/resetting for shooters as they hacve staff doing it all
Shot four stages on Friday... Stage 8, all handgun... main aspect of which was to decide which poppers to down at the beginning... Shooting the farthest (40yrds) allowed the shooter to run up and engage the rest of teh stage from boxes nice and close. Downing a closer pair meant well... you engaged the rest of the stage from farther away...
Stage 9 was rifl/handgun with rifle targets from 10 feet to 125yrds or so...
There was no mistaking the fault lines as well... they were made of razor wire.
Stage 2 was all shotgun... Run on a Par time system it was up to the shooter to decide how to exicute the stage, but.... you had to be fast.
Stage 1 was pistol/rifle with close up stuff for your handgun and targets out as far as 300+ yrds for rifle.... One thing though. The platform the rifke shots had to be made from was on giant springs
Today we shot stage 4 which was a blind-ish room clearing stage. Shooters started with an AMU supplied supressed Remmington ACR and a loaded mag. You began the stage by engaging targts with the ACR, in full auto.
Stage 5 was CLASSIFIED or "blind"... Our squad of 11 was picked up by a Striker armored vehicle and driven about 15 minutes away. We were herded into a holding room in what turned out to be some kind of urban warfare training area on the base. One by one each shooter was taken from teh room and let loose. Stage involved engaging "targets" from windows on the second floor of the structure... Mix of paper and steel. at widely varying distances.
We also ran thru a side match that was full auto with a .308 cal. I can't recall the name/model of... 'some FAL trype rifle.
We also had a giant steak 'n beer diiner on site this evening...
Tomorrow we shoot our last two stages... and after awards.. a GMC truck and a Camaro, we'll head home.
I'll post pics and vids after I get back... We magaged to get footage of all stages except #5...
