Remington Special Run?

I would go for a stainless, .300 H&H, or 7.62x39, or .338-06. DM for me please. I always take the magazine when using the rifle.....

They have, or had, something close to that: A 700 BDL stainless with an iron sighted 24" barrel & a synthetic stock but it had a floor plate. I own one & enjoy using it. Probably a pretty easy conversion to your specs.

I know they did, but if I'm going to dream, it'll be for exactly what I want..........You still have the BDL?

Oops! Gues that I should read, you do still own your BDL

My choice would be a comparatively inexpensive utility M700 rifle (laminated stock) in 9.3x62 or .338-06.

Utility means SPS or better yet ADL synthetic, and if you can't make up your mind the it may as well be a 35 whelan. 22 inch barrel with sights.

A 257 Roberts sure sounds nice...
as does the 7-08 and 300 H&H

7.62 x 39 would probably sell load of them,... but on a small run, I think I'd like something different than that.

I know most would pass, but I's love to find a new 220 swift, stainless with laminate or wood, and possibly fluted.

280AI would be a very hard to beat as well...in many configurations

Perhaps a poll???

The Mountain Guide model that they already do for Gander Mountain might be worth looking into Clay. Its basically a stainless action and barrel in a Ti stock,S/A only I believe.Because they are already running it for GM in the States you may be able to get it at a reasonable price.Cabela's was offering the same rifle in blue a couple of years ago. Mur

In 7-08.........
It would weigh no more than 6 1/2 lbs. scoped with a 2X7 in Tally Lwt rings... Perfect for deer on up...:D

In .260
If Remingtion would use a 1:8 twist barrel for those 154gr Lapua bonded Mega's...
Deer to moose and elk with those Lapua's and Hornady 160 RN.. double :D
