SHOT SHOW 2010 - EMA Tactical (ex-CAA) Glock Carbine Kit

Hi Mark

Just a question for you.You said you seen the product at shot show.
What is on the glock at the back of slide in the video? Is this something you have to add to the glock to make it fit?
Just curious

It's like a ring that hooks over the back of the slide in front of the rear sight and works as an ambi cocking lever... no modification to the gun are required.

The EMA Carbine kit uses a polymer slide on attachment which is scalloped to fit the standard glock slide serrations. No disassembly of the glock required.

The one in the video (KPOS) puts in an attachment which fits in place of the slide cover and acts as a mount for the cocking lever.

The stock not here before 1 month because they add a security on the trigger.

Only available in black (may be other color later but not now), they made for Glock first, other model only in few months.

Took a good look at all of the pistol carbines like these. This was the best of the lot and the price point is better than the others.

Maybe a dumb question, but

this will add to the barrel 2"-4", so for the expert out there

is that means I can shoot 10-20 yards more with this gun,

because beside it looks cool, I do not see the interest with a pistol caliber.

It adds nothing to the barrel, unless you add an aftermarket long barrel to your Glock (they are available).

What it does is turn a handheld gun into a shoulder-mounted gun, which will increase your control and accuracy. Plus the CDI factor.

It looks like they have a muzzle break on the front - what's the deal with that?

FWIW - I'm very leery about using those FAB folding forward grip after I saw this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11fcg543Jow - granted, I think the guy might have been pushing forward when he should have been pulling back, and he was shooting full auto - but still, I don't trust having my hand that close to the muzzle.

Defiantly something to be aware of. But that video was messed up on so many levels I don't know where to start.
The two big ones IMO are
A: Fully automatic handgun
B: No shoulder stock to stop kickback.
