Is there such thing as an Affordable M14 scope mount that is good quality?

Basset machine is about the cheapest mount I've heard good things about. After that, be prepared to spend $250 or more. See the sticky at top of main battle rifle forum with suggestions.

The ARMS18 was my top choice for the M14. I think they are pretty hard to come by these days though.

I have had excellent results with the springfield gen 3 .Only complaint is it is a large bulky mount,but the two I have had worked well.

There's always the red loctite option if you plan on keeping that mount there for a while.

Basically, you get what you pay for. If you want a quality mount, you need to cough up the $$$, if you want to look like a super cool Operator, buy a cheap one.

I'm an iron sight guy, so the issue of the scope mount is irrelevant... but that aside, I'm an ARMS 18 fan/ lover and whenever I mount them, I know that I will not get any surprises!
